I'm now officially a multi-shipper.

Fandom: CSI, Original Gangsta Version. Pairings SO FAR -- keep in mind I've only seen half of seasons 1 and 2 to date:

1) Catherine/Grissom. It is like Crusher/Picard, but with more pole-dancing! (He's a socially awkward academic who knows everything about everything, she's a single mom with more than a little snark in her, and they've got a possibly-angsty as-yet-undetermined past...)

2) Sara/Grissom. Geek mating rituals, omg!

3) Sara/Nicky. The cuteness kills me dead in totally unexplained ways!

Ritual stoning may now commence.

Just for you... since I'm trying to explore this fandom, wanna challenge me for one-scene ficlets? Set in season 1 or 2 (either generally or specifically in-episode, in which case I'll only bite if I've seen it)... give me a character or a pairing, a setting (location, time of day, or otherwise) aaaand... a sentence of either dialogue or prose. :) I'll pick two out of the three and try to write you scenes!

Oooh!! See, I don't remember the pilot well enough to do this... so I kind of went out and bought season one. But now I'm having buyer's remorse and think I should return it! But it was at costco and cheap! But do I really need CSI DVDs? My obsession might go away next week! *flail!*

Like $35! It was gleeeful! And I'm like "But... how often will I really watch these mystery shows when I already know the ending? And it is bloody and gory and such!" But but but... omgfandomgeekinesswithmedie! And potential for fic!

I know I *will* get steadily more obsessed as I keep watching. The question is... do I really want to? Because maybe I should be filling my head with flowers and kittens and rainbows instead of dead bodies mangled in wood chippers? Just a thought. ;)
