the revenge of the web orders

I feel horribly ganged-up upon by inanimate objects. And, I suppose, the total strangers (who are animate) sending these inanimate emails and telephone calls. Just... a *lot* of web orders. And emails. And the phone hasn't stopped ringing such that I haven't even *listened* to my metric craploads of voicemails yet.

I will get through today. I WILL.

I probably shouldn't have hit mystic_isles000, though. That was kind of unprofessional. Even though it was totally in self-defense because she jumped out at me from nowhere. *snuggles sister* She has apparently forgiven me, because she just came into my office and did her Jack-as-velociraptor-in-"Broca-Divide" impersonation for me. My day is much improved.

It's so nice to work in the same place, even if our coworkers (justifiably) believe we are complete and utter loony bin escapees.

Man, I heart the final chapter. Except the baby thing, to be honest. I like it more now that I'm reading "Avatar" because it clicked that, oh, this is a mythology and that's necessary, but... eh. The marriage part is *adorable*, though! :) Theysocute.

But damn. That last big arc of DS9 is, like, the sexiest television EVER. I made at least two people get into the show and watch the entire series just so that they could watch and appreciate the final chapter. Breen! Damar! OdoandKira!! EZRI! Man, I loves it all.

Hee. They ARE adorable. And the baby thing, with him being all "we're having a baby! and no, nothing bad is going to happen, because...well, because...but, it's not!" and being all protective. *huggles Ben* I sort of rolled my eyes at the mythology angle--I mean, this kid is going to have SO many expectations around it from the Bajoran populace at large, it's not even funny--but all the sadness and angst around them being all snuggly and newly-wed, and then Ben getting taken away...it just breaks my heart, but in a good way. Damn, but I want Ben back. :D

I guess I just felt like the baby was cliched (oh! we're ending a series! somebody needs to have a baby!) and it would have been still superangsty without it (since, JUST MARRIED). But they are so cute. I love their relationship.

I want *everybody* back.

I know! I just watched WYLB (showed it to my mom, in the ongoing Convert Mum To Trekkieism Project) and felt so sad afterward (best ending scene ever, but makes me SO homesick!) that I had to go back and watch amusing Ezri episodes from earlier in the season in order to not get depressed. :) Odo leaving and Ben leaving were the saddest, I think.

Dude, they SO need to do a movie. But I think they won't. Argh.
