speaking of pants...

So this dude has left, no exaggeration, *eight* messages over the past three days about these pants that he wants to order.
And he has talked to me twice and to Mary at least once. About pants. California drawstring pants. Very *specific* California drawstring pants. Which we don't have. But might have something kind of similar to, apparently, if he calls often enough.
*eyes dude*
I, like, admire your dedication to pants and all...
Next time I talk to him, I should ask if he's a 'shipper. Or, you know, wants to be. Or at least, is a distant psychic cousin of me and
elly427 and
familyarchives.
It's bad when one's made-up fandoms start interfering with one's ability to keep a straight face at work. And yet, awesome.
-- Little Red, who has been very amused to leave all sorts of memos with the subject "re: pants" all over the place the past few days...

lyssie wins a lot of points. Also,
mystic_isles000 for making me take a break and eat a cookie. My day is now spectacularly less mono-y and sucktastic :)

Date: 2004-07-09 08:29 pm (UTC)I didn't get any further than So this dude has left, no exaggeration, *eight* messages over the past three days about these pants that he wants to order. before I started laughing.
I want to order some pants as well. THE REMOVAL OF PANTS! BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
And he's clearly not a shipper, because really, wouldn't he want to get rid of the pants if he were? Though maybe he's still at a point in the happypantverseOMGSQUEEE!!!!1! where they need the pants. Huh. I think I like this guy.
You know, to the average person we must look crazy.
happypantsverseOMGSQEEEE!!!11!
Date: 2004-07-09 11:05 pm (UTC)You think? ;)
Re: happypantsverseOMGSQEEEE!!!11!
Date: 2004-07-10 03:25 am (UTC)Um. Just a little enthusiastic.
I think that Sam should tell Jack she has no pants that fit his description of pants. Just lots of short skirts. And then his head will implode. :)
Re: happypantsverseOMGSQEEEE!!!11!
Date: 2004-07-10 04:36 am (UTC)Sam: *eyebrow*
Jack: "... oh."
Sam: "Yeah."
Jack: "So... no pants, eh?"
And OMG!
Date: 2004-07-10 03:27 am (UTC)Like buying milk and batteries because the batteries in her tv remote dicintegrated.
Just a thought. :)
I KNOW!!
Date: 2004-07-11 12:37 am (UTC)(wow, that was bitchy of me! Um... I am unrepentant)
the batteries in her tv remote dicintegrated.
Did she drop her remote in coke or leave it on the heater? Not that either of those things EVER happened in the Pawtucket House of Couch.
But hey, look! No milk! No remote! Those are VERY good reasons to go wear her tapered pants over to Jack's house. Where she can... keep wearing them, I guess, because we're in the pants!verse. She can stop for milk on the way and bring her broken remote along so that she can fix it while she watches TV at Jack's. And this will all somehow make sense. Because cuteness is an end in and of itself.
