Yep, I'm doing it this year. hihoplastic's fault!

I have never done this before! She informed me that there was a website and that I had to sign up, and that I could be friends with people!

I will be writing the Ares pilot and, I guess, subsequent episodes if I run out of pilot before I run out of words.

I'm totally crazy! But honestly, it will be unbelievably nice to bury my head in something other than my life for a month (well, another month, because sparktober was pretty darned efficient at that too!). It's like that old saying, when the going gets tough, the tough get enabled to do nanowrimo.

Hehe, yup, that is how I ALWAYS feel when I sign up for NaNo and through out the month of November! So we can brain esplode together! Gah!

I realized that Portland, where I live, is kind of a hotbed of in-person nano activity! I'm going to go to the kickoff on Saturday if I can get over being SCARED. :)

Going to write-ins and meeting other NaNos in person is really fun. I'm going to the kickoff they are having in my area too. First time for me. So I'm excited. Hee.

Don't worry, I conned a friend to join NaNo this year too, and she's scared, but I told her everyone experienced or inexperienced with NaNo are all in the same boat come Nov. 1. We're all going to go. OMG I need to write how many words?! lol
