Oh my god. Stupid cute OTP. If there's better UST out there than Stargate Season 4, I'm pretty sure it would be hazardous to my health to know about it.

I want to ask for ficlet prompts, but I think I'm in that sort of brain-fried-on-season-4 state where it would come out like OOC pining-then-declarations-of-love crack because they do that to you. (I think I have about 300K words of shame fic on my hard drive from the first time I watched season 4. Sheppard and Weir never did that to me - everything I started writing for them I intended to be post-able, and I never felt the need to find more and more outlandish ways of breaking them to get them together. Sam and Jack make me dumb.)

Um. But if you want to prompt me, even after that, you can. ;)

I don't know why writers eff up our real OTPs so much, especially when it's couples that so obviously BELONG together. Mulder & Scully, Jack and Sam, Luke and Lorelai. It's such a painful thing for a fan to watch and if they ever do buy the DVDs, it's a painful thing to have to watch AGAIN.

It's like, you don't have to even argue that there's another man for any of those women, it's such a friggin' given.

Oh yeah, though, the Stargate movie with Ba'al, Continuum? That had some Jack/Sam!

Ooooh!! Yes! If I finish watching the show, I can watch the movies! And Ba'al... gotta love him. Although I think the moment I checked out of Stargate was the one where he cloned himself like twenty times or whatever and I was like ALL RIGHT, PEOPLE, ENOUGH.

Poor Scully! Her life would really have been so much better if there were another man for her. I mean, by the end, her life just sucks and Mulder is really insane, and they, like, ride off into the sunset together to live a life of crazy people in hiding. So sad! But Sam and Jack! They really bring all their own misery on themselves, and there's a chance for real actual happiness, and they need to just make that happen already. :) And pronto!

I did find it SLIGHTLY disturbing that Sam is pretty much a carbon copy of Jack's ex-wife. Or vice versa. I am pretty sure they never planned Jack/Sam out when they first made the series, but sort of recognized the fact that the couple had insane chemistry. And I've wondered if they cast Jack's wife like that because of this.

Haha, and yes, Mulder & Scully are sort of that crazy couple fo-lyfe-yo. I can imagine them living in the Curtis, having their groceries delivered from Loeb's. Their apartment having all black lights with a special light table for Mulder to look at his alien UFO slides on, and Scully has to get him to eat his dinner by calling him on his special walky-talky.

Well, Jack's wife was blonde in the movie, though she had long hair then. I remember making a point about it in one of my fics, where Daniel's like "Wow, it's freaky! She looks so much like Sam!" and Jack's all "Huh? No she doesn't." Because he's used to Sara with long hair. That being said, I suppose Jack is allowed to have a type. ;) I kind of imagine him going dammit at some point, because he's always had a weakness for blondes.

I don't know why, but I pictured Mulder with those glasses with the thick thick lenses that make your eyes look gigantic!

All those Sam/Cam shippers make me sad though. I never really did like Cam... you should watch season 10! <3 Vala.

Sam/Cam? Should we have Sam/Cam/Lam for full rhyming OT3 potential?

I liked Cam in the episodes that I watched, because he's such a total dork. Kind of like my deep and abiding Jonas love. :) But Sam/Cam? Eh. Even if it's there, I would probably refuse to acknowledge it.

I think I disliked the Cam bits where they tried to put him with some chick and it really didn't fit at all. Subconsciously, I think I was also torn over the fact that Cam & Vala never really had any chemistry, when Aeryn & John had SO MUCH OF IT. I also probably hated him for not being Jack! But he was a bit of a dork, and that was cute.

WTB more Stargate movies! Universe sucks sooooo much :(
