Guys, she rewrote "Before I Sleep" so AU Sheppard survived, too! It's an amazing freight train of Ancient politicking with so much attention to detail, action, hurt/comfort, emotional codependency of the absolutely best kind, and John Sheppard crazy in love like you have never seen him. It has taken my love of action-adventury spy movies and my love of romance novels and SMUSHED THEM TOGETHER.

You fangirl like so few people have been able to fangirl before! *admires you for that too* That's such a sweet and awesome rec and I am full of mad squeee and bouncing-up-and-down-ness!!

"Ascent" was so not plot like THIS, dewd!! This had twists! And turns! And deception! And a cast of thousands! IT IS SO THE BEST EVER SO THERE.

I'm still a bit giddy that you liked it so much tho!

MWAHAHAHA. I think my ultimate offering to Sparky will be all the people I suckered into it. *shakes head sadly* You know I wrote the first fic? Like five minutes after the pilot aired? (It was largely aj's fault for enabling, and I really wanted to be first.) Back then we TOTALLY thought we'd be the black sheep fandom next to Sheppard/Teyla and we were all pretty okay with that, so imagine our surprise when things ended up like... this! Wheeee. :)

LOL! Five minutes might be an exaggeration. 2-3 hours, maybe? Anyway, it's called Mornings After (http://sachi.arrr.net/morningsafter.html). It kind of started that period in early-Atlantis where we all thought that they would just sleep with each other randomly and be angst free (how were we ever so naive??).
