The Aiden Corso thing freaked me out, because I knew a kid named Corso who acted JUST LIKE THAT OMG.
Rodney and Sam would be amusing together. I think they would've been great college boyfriendgirlfriends, you know, like, they met in all their geektastic honors work and hated each other because they had ALL THEIR CLASSES together and had to fight for everything and ended up doing sex just because it was convenient and that way they could be "normal" and have "social lives" and yet not stop talking dorky math equations all the while.
Oooooh... I like your take on Sparky here. I think it works better because he wouldn't be as afraid of her, and would force past her boundaries with all his bravado and whatnot. However... I'm not sure if that makes it more or less likely that she would let herself be weak around him. Because on the one hand, he's kinda scaryalpha that way, but on the other hand... she knows he'll be able to take it and watch out for her while she's tweaking.

I realized after I said that that all of the flowers-and-chocolate bit would really have to go. Because, um, HEE. And man, if John went and sexed Teyla in this situation, I would KICK. HIS. ASS.
