I spent tonight going through a "pattern a day" knitting calendar to see if I was inspired at all. I really should just bite the bullet and start designing my own sweater patterns and whatnot from scratch, but I'm being lazy and just want something to work on so I'm looking at smaller things. I managed to collect a few requests today, so as soon as I decide what to do next and buy yarn... I am back in business :)
And I'm apparently quite opposed to just making things for my own personal use and enjoyment.
Hee! I really don't have this problem, because I really want to try and learn new things at the moment, and so I don't mind making practice-stuff for myself. Or maybe I'm just selfish and really love the sweaters I've made... and want more!! At least half of my projects are for other people, but I definitely don't have a problem knitting for me :) I also like not having the time-pressure that you seem to so enjoy!! I'm such a process knitter and not a production knitter...
