Yes, you're right. And in this case, I think the little renegade Asgard TRIED to make a fully-grown Jack-clone in a day, but failed because he has copyright-encrypted genes (I'm not even kidding), so he ended up only being 15. I believe he'll go on to age and live normally.
(Strangely, though--when I read your ficlet above, for some reason I thought they were *on* the Asgard world with Thor. Weird.)
That *is* kinda weird, because they're talking about renting movies and playing crossword puzzles and discussing homework and tests and stuff. *eyes you*
