God, I miss Voyager. There was some Original Series on TV very early this morning, and it just made me miss Voyager even more. Gorgeous fic. I really need to watch the show again, from the beginning, to understand the Janeway/Chakotay relationship - I was only, like, ten or eleven (I think) when I watched Voyager, so I didn't really get character interaction the way I do now, but I can definitely see this fitting in with what I remember. Plus, totally awesome title.
