*nods* exactly! My favorite scene todate is the one where Catherine is sorta sloshed in Gil's apartment and she's advising him to call Sara and, generally, act like a human being *G* and she's so easy and free and he's so comfortable with it. Yeah, *HUGE* Holy grail as friendships onscreen go. It's just *EEEEEEE* *G*
Ohemgeee can't wait to see that!!!! That sounds fantastic! Yay. :) And I LOVE how she totally called up Grissom's bone-analyst girlfriend just to force him into going on a date. LOVE IT. It reminds me of TNG relationships in that no matter what sort of sexual/relationship attraction might be there, the friendship is always paramount (this seems true for most of the CSI pairings I've encountered, except Sara/Grissom, I guess).
*SNICKER* Well tis me. We do tend to do that to each other massively. (And eee can you imagine CSI: Atlantis? Now that is an AU *G*)
Wait, you mean 'lantis folk as CSIs or CSI folk in spaaaace? Because I think I like the latter better. What this show needs is a good alien abduction!
It's you, I do not see how in any way shape or form this could be bad!!!!
Trust me, everything I write is coming out massively out of character because I just don't know the characters well enough to get their dialogue! Plus my muse still seems to be stupid. *kicks meds*
However, your challenge is brewing.
Ironically? Nick/Sara is the one that I don't really see in that sense.
I tried writing a Sara/Nicky story that popped into my head, and... it totally ended up as friendship. I think any relationship that would grow here would have to be slow-burn, and that requires lots of writing, bugger it. I don't know why I like them so much, I just... really really do. It just seems like a relationship that wouldn't be explosive, which is nice every now and again!! ;) I guess this is one of those where I really love the potential for their friendship and think they'd be really good for each other, and that it has the potential to grow into something awesome. Y'know?
BWAH! is that a 'per season' thing or overall? because over all? That is a *LOTTA* pairings *EG*
Let's just go with "main characters per season"! That seems a little less exponential.
p.s. Is the Sofia you keep mentioning the blonde girl who shows up later? What's her deal? Does she replace Brass, or...?
Re: as usual, you and I are so better than the steekin' comment limits *WEG*
