First seasons are love.
I'm just saying.
I have purchased season one of The X-Files, and cannot get over the endless love of Mulder just being eccentric and not totally INSANE and Scully being badly-dressed and really really hoping to have a life, and them totally defending each other up and down despite knowing each other for like eight minutes only! It is fabulous. I spend most of my time yelling "RUN AWAY, SCULLY! RUN!" at the TV.
And I'm still working on the first season of Star Trek: TNG, which is quite possibly the 'shippiest season of them all.
( Okay people, it was 1987, but I'm SPOILER-CUTTING ANYWAY because I am afraid of you! )It's really fun to watch these episodes and try to figure out where things change -- when the characters start to click together and behave like we'd expect them to after the initial shakedown season.
