Advanced Warning: Handmade Scarf Exchange!

havocthecat and I are going to great lengths to justify yarn purchases to throw a scarf exchange for this winter/southern-hemisphere-summer! Knitting, crocheting, sewing, weaving, other soft wearable crafts are all welcome! We don't have the format totally worked out yet, but you'll get to request your fave colors and declare your local weather for wintry warm things or decorative cool things.

(We're probably going to outlaw Red Heart.)

THIS. I find Red Heart perfect for toys and plastic canvas-age, but NOBODY should be allowed to make clothing out of that stuff.

I'm in, if it's okay that we hardly ever interact. My blog is growing an impressive collection of cobwebs and I know I don't comment here often, but I'm sure we shared a fandom at some point, and my main fandom the last four years or so has been yarn, anyway.

I'm multi-craftual: knitting, crochet, weaving, and also spinning. If the guidelines can specify washing instructions that are or aren't ok, that would be super helpful.
