OH NANO!

Yep, I'm doing it this year. [livejournal.com profile] hihoplastic's fault!

I have never done this before! She informed me that there was a website and that I had to sign up, and that I could be friends with people!

I am mylittleredgirl! Be my friend!

I will be writing the Ares pilot and, I guess, subsequent episodes if I run out of pilot before I run out of words.

I'm totally crazy! But honestly, it will be unbelievably nice to bury my head in something other than my life for a month (well, another month, because [livejournal.com profile] sparktober was pretty darned efficient at that too!). It's like that old saying, when the going gets tough, the tough get enabled to do nanowrimo.

:)

Be my frieeeeend!

Oh! You did post about it! I should add you to my google-reader-feed. :) (Your name is Kristin? OH GOD, INTERNET, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY SENSE OF KNOWING THINGS ABOUT PEOPLE. I always assumed it was Jean!)

Do you get to count your blog posts toward your word count? because that seems important.

It's also conveniently syndicated on LJ at [livejournal.com profile] feathersnlight! :D (HEE. I pretty much never use my first name on LJ, so don't worry! Jean's my middle name -- er, sorta; it's actually Janine, but it's for my Grandma, who everyone called Jean. I liked using that. It feels weird to use Kristin online, but I'm trying to get used to it.)

Blog posts won't count towards the NaNo wordcount, sadly. Only words towards the actual story.

Which I'm already subscribed to! Because I pay a lot of attention, it seems!

All this nano excitement is keeping me from all important [livejournal.com profile] sparktober and [livejournal.com profile] prettyhellotp writings! ZOMG. The transition from one writing marathon to another should be interesting. ;)

I'm not sure I'll be able to stream-of-consciousness write. Eep! It's bad, because I'm already attached to my story, and don't want to throughly cock it up, but when I write good I write slooow.
