Totally punchy on Daniel/Janet Day festivities while watching Babylon 5 (I KNOW, but it was in the DVD drive), and OK, I have a new B5 fantasy plan, in which after Talia is rescued from the Corps, she is hella pissed, and she and Lyta and... er... someone else? Gray? Because he was Jeffrey Coooooombs, even though he was a weenie? ... anyway, they form a total vigilante STRIKE TEAM and set out to destroy the Corps and cause other mayhem. And wear leather.

Y/N?

I expect a YES from lyssie, at least, because everyone else probably wisely stopped reading when I said "punchy."

Oh, totally. In my head, Season 5 still kind of doesn't exist? But if it does, I'm sure Talia would have been like "... Lyta, you joined what kind of telepath harmony commune?"

Lyta: "THERE WERE ORGIES, OKAY?"

Talia: "... and how did that work out for you?"

Lyta: "Not so well, after the orgies and the massacre."

Talia: "Harmony was never really your style."

Lyta: "Revenge was never your style."

Talia: "You may have heard -- I've changed over the years."

Lyta: "Revenge it is!"

ALSO. Season five only sort of happened, because I sort of like Lochley, but large portions of it are also meh. And the worst is Byron and the telepaths.

I really, really, really wanted to like Byron and the telepaths, because I LOVE B5 telepaths on the whole, and Psi Corps, and the whole phenomenon. But it was kinda obnoxious.

I think it was the sort of unsavory "allegory for black people" allusions that made it yucky.

Lyta rolled her eyes, "What's your plan for getting her out, then?"

There was silence for a moment, then Susan made a face, "I just don't like these stupid black gloves."

"You're not supposed to." Turning back, Lyta checked her instruments. "Nearly there. Better suit up."
