I don't normally read long fics. I have the attention span of a very 'shippy flea. This? SO WORTH IT. I wish it was LONGER, that's how awesome it is.
Guys, she rewrote "Before I Sleep" so AU Sheppard survived, too! It's an amazing freight train of Ancient politicking with so much attention to detail, action, hurt/comfort, emotional codependency of the absolutely best kind, and John Sheppard crazy in love like you have never seen him. It has taken my love of action-adventury spy movies and my love of romance novels and SMUSHED THEM TOGETHER.
