I didn't think it sounded mean! Those are indeed Modest Mouse lyrics. SUCH good music, as my sistah alosersdream and our friend rpgmaniac666 say. The icon's by daygloparker, I think, who is rather freaking awesome.

I'll have to try and keep you in mind whenever a good one gets posted on my flist. Obviously, they're harder to come by nowadays since there aren't new episodes every week, but there area lot of diehards who keep the love. ;)
