It's icky, but I think that if we manage to postpone xmas it'll be best for everyone. I'm sure it's suckier for my mom being away from home than it is for me being here alone.

Plus, I'm lucky and have sort of extended-immediate-family from the ashram days, so I can perhaps appeal to be adopted by pseudo-parents for Christmas Eve.
