I think...I think that's one of the standard variants on cloning. Sometimes you get full-grown clones in a day, who then go on to age a a normal rate, and sometimes you grow them at double-speed, like ten years' size for five years' age, or faster, or--oh! I know where I'm getting this. Star Wars. Attack of the Clones. Remember all the half-grown Fett clones? The original stormtroopers.

Oh! And Shinzon. Didn't he? He was Picard's clone after all, and I don't think he'd been made a full twenty years ago even though he looked it. Interesting, that. (Even though that movie sucked compared to First Contact. And they killed Data! Except they didn't--am firm supporter of last-microsecond-rescue, by perhaps Donatra.)
