delta psis abroad!

Brother K.Stein just called me from Hong Kong to wish me a happy birthday for tomorrow! DUDE! *feels special* And, for those of you who know him, he's doing well and China has been great fun. He dazzled me with some Chinese, although I really have no way of knowing if he just made it up or not.

And I am bouncing with gleee over my bedroom having been painted. *So* pretty. Burgundy is my favourite colour EVER.

That's all.

duuude!! It is a swanky colour, man. (you know, I referred to my job as a "swanky job" the other day and my boss got all offended because she thought "swanky" was a negative term). One wall is burgundy and the rest is a really light tan. And I've got a wood floor, so it is *purty.* Now I just hope it looks good with actual furniture in the room...

"swanky" is the perfect word to describe the color of overstuffed leather couches, smoking jackets, and velvet drapery. Also...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Have a good one.

Thanks, darling :) I think all of those things highlight why "swanky" is such a great word and should be used more frequently.
