OMFG, you guys. In cleaning out my computer (so I can partition it, install Windows, and get Star Trek Online), I stumbled across an archive of saved chats.

mylittleredgirl: and to write Jack/Weir porn. Except that might not happen.
mylittleredgirl: because I'm not all that great at porn.
mylittleredgirl: but, hence, the challenge part of it ˇ¸
aj2245: I can just see John and Weir sitting on a couch drinking coffee and bitching about their day to come before they go and be busy little monkies.

OMFG STAR TREK ONLINE IN SPACE OMG.

My main complaints are:

1) not enough facial customization for your person if you're doing an established race (like Trill, Bajoran, etc), because there's only one basic nose and mouth.

2) too much space, not enough away team! I might come to like the space battles more when I get better at piloting my ship, though. I'm spending a lot of time limping along at thruster power going "TURN FASTER DAMN YOU, FASTER!"

My main extreme glee:

1) I AM AN ENSIGN IN STARFLEET. THE STARFLEET. I AM A TRILL. IT IS REALLY QUITE DELIGHTFUL.

My main question:

1) If I write fanfic about my Star Trek Online character, is that kind of like writing WOW fanfic? Because I'm not okay with that!

You are allowed to write fanfic about your Star Trek Online character, because that means I can write it about mine. And we can blame each other. That is okay, yes/yes?

Her name is Lena Tanis and she is a Trill tactical officer and SUPER ADORABLE and mean with a compression phaser rifle! And I kind of want to preorder the deluxe edition so I can be a JOINED TRILL and even though I really disliked playing the space portions of the game I want a lifetime subscription BECAUSE THEY OFFER IT and I should really calm down now.

Das Boy points out that I will die a lot in this game, because I'm used to playing a melee character in WoW, and so shooting things from a distance isn't really my forte. I tend to jump into the middle of things and start attacking. ;)
